Parliamentary Spokespersons

Hilton and Hatton are in Derbyshire Dales constituency where Robert Court is our Parliamentary spokesperson. Our Parliamentary spokesperson for the South Derbyshire constituency is Lucy Care.

Robert Court - Derbyshire Dales

Robert Court lives in Foolow and is our parliamentary spokesperson for Derbyshire Dales, which in 2024 includes the Hilton and Hatton districts of South Derbyshire.

The General Election gave you an opportunity to vote for change at national level. Change to a fairer society - fairer to nurses, teachers, carers and farmers. Fairer votes: we don’t have to go on using a voting system shared in Europe only by Belarus.

Our Councillors

We have 2 councillors on South Derbyshire District Council (SDDDC) Both were elected in June 2023

Grahame Andrew

I was first elected to South Derbyshire District Council on 15th June 2023.  Having worked in and around local government for 37 years both as a senior/chief officer and more lately as a consultant.  I am intent on bringing my experience of working on the "inside" to assist my local residents and the organisation as a whole.  Having spent over two years on Hilton Parish getting to grips with local issues, I will seek to work with other elected members for improved services not just in Hilton, but across South Derbyshire.  I think my perspective of working with local government employees and managers at a variety of East Midlands Councils will help in achieving good outcomes for all.
